Suruj braves surgery to vote

Suruj illA VISIBLY-ILL Works Minister, Dr Suruj Rambachan, left hospital yesterday shortly after surgery to attend the Lower House to vote on the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property (No 2) Bill 2014.

Sitting all alone in the empty parliamentary chamber during the tea-break while all other MPS had left for refreshments in the MP’s Lounge, Rambachan looked subdued as he sported a plug of cotton wool on his left wrist where presumably earlier he had been hooked up to an intravenous drip.

He told Newsday he had gallstone surgery early yesterday and was supposed to be recovering, but had instead rushed to Parliament to vote on the bill, after which he hoped to return to hospital to recuperate.

It is only a spiritual equipped man as Dr. Rambachan can make such meaningful contribution for the well being of his people and country.
The pains u endured to pass this Bill make the Opposition members
look so dam ill. May I wish u a speedy and fast recovery.
