Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by Dr. Surujrattan Rambachan

Tribute to Gandhi was written by Professor Ananatanand Rambachan and Ken Parmasad in the 1970′s. Several songs in English with east indian devotional moods/tunes were written as Bhajans and gained popularity. I vocalized several of them including Call Him Allah call Him Ram, He is the same God to all man and O children of Naoble and Ancient Culture as well as “Have No Fear and Fight Your Battle of Life Arjuna, so said LOrd Krishna to Arjuna in Gita.” the version of Gandhi was recorded in India in 1990 with Rana Mohip (who was then studying in India) and musicians from All India.Radio.

I first recorded Bhajans and Chants in 1970 followed by Come Let us Chant in 1974. Several CD’ followed including Dhyaan and Santosh. I have also recorded the Hanuman Chalisa and Hanuman’s Prayer from Sundar kanda. It has never been officially released. there is another album of songs never released consisting of old bhajans recorded in 1987 with music by Rana Mohip. It includes such songs as Hey Satyanarayana swami and hamay Paar karo as well as Le chala Prabhuji ke dwaar manwa. Maybe they will be released one good day. Thank you for viewing Gandhi.
